I love mario fan films for some odd reason. It harkens back to my youth when most kids would play video games for less than 30 minutes and then go and play outside. This little Mario film was made for South by Southwest. Enjoy!
Well kids, COD Black OPs is almost here. A new trailer dropped today with lots of sweet action. It looks like a good chunk of the game might be a Vietnam flashback, and if you watch closely you will see a shot of JFK (holding back on the Zapruder jokes) in the trailer.
I was very excited to see that a new Medal of Honor game is being created! I loved these games in the past, and at the time they were top notch in graphics and storyline (take notes CODMW2). I don't know if this game will reach the multiplayer amazingness of Modern Warfare 2 (sans IWNET... epic FAIL), but the single player game is sure to be loads of fun. Enjoy the trailer.
I've enjoyed the Call of Duty series of games since they first introduced the WWII first person shooters. The games have gotten progressively better with a few minor hiccups here and there. Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare was one of my favorites and a nice diversion away from WWII. Modern Warfare 2 is the new sequel and looks to be quite promising.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is currently available for preorder on Amazon and is slated to be released on November 10, 2009.
Do you remember that awesome NES game from the 80's called Bionic Commando? You played a commando character with this weird ass mechanical arm (think Dr. Octopus from Spiderman) that allowed for swinging, climbing, and punching bad guys. Well, the epic game from the 1980's has now experienced a rebirth into modern badass game.
It is kind of crazy for me to see games that I played on an 8 bit system 20ish years ago get remade with fantastic graphics, amazing game play, and a story that didn't revolve around scrolling text whilst playing typewritter sounds :)
