U2 Spy Plane: Ride of a Lifetime

Do you remember the U2 Spy Plane? The US developed this high altitude vessel as a means of reconnaissance to check out what the commies were doing in Russia during the Cold War. The U2 got some great photos in the 60's but the Ruskies ended up shooting it down and capturing the pilot. Take a gander a the wikipedia entry for more info.

James May of the great show Top Gear, actually had the privilege of flying aboard the U2. The video has some breath taking images from the literally the top of the Earth.
