Battlefield Bad Company 2

Truth be told I miss the Battlefield series.  BF2 was probably the best version and I have fond memories of playing the game.  Back in the day I'd go with about 8 or so friends down to the local PC cafe and we would "squad up" and pwn the hell out of some n00bs.  For my money I think BF2 wins the title for best squad based game play (best FPS goes to Call of Duty, emphasis on Modern Warfare).  The ranking system in BF2 was kind of a pain in the ass (as were the weapon unlocks) but no game is perfect.  The futuristic version of BF never really got off the ground, and thus I've been waiting for the newest incarnation of the game.

Well it looks like that day will soon come with Battlefield Bad Company 2.  I was quite disappointed when the first Bad Company was denied a PC release, but if all goes as planned Bad Company 2 will be on PS3, XBOX 360, and PC on Sept. 30th.  That will should hold us all over before L4D2, Bioshock 2, CODMW2, and a few others come out :)

Bionic Commando: The NES Rebirth (trailer)

Do you remember that awesome NES game from the 80's called Bionic Commando?  You played a commando character with this weird ass mechanical arm (think Dr. Octopus from Spiderman) that allowed for swinging, climbing, and punching bad guys.  Well, the epic game from the 1980's has now experienced a rebirth into modern badass game.

It is kind of crazy for me to see games that I played on an 8 bit system 20ish years ago get remade with fantastic graphics, amazing game play, and a story that didn't revolve around scrolling text whilst playing typewritter sounds :)

Wolfenstein: Its Back!

I'm sure many of you grew up playing the original Wolfenstein game (way ahead of it's time) and also enjoyed The Return to Wolfenstein several years back.  Well, I had the rumors of a new evolution in the series and the cinematic opening was released to the internets today.  I'm quite excited and there really is nothing more entertaining that melting the flesh off of Nazis!
