Making Of KA-BAR Knives

For a brief stint in college I sold a quality kitchen knives.  They were very expensive and the company followed a "direct sales" model which meant I was giving sales presentations in people's homes.  Like any rookie sales person, we were taught little tricks to help increase sales.  If we saw any military memorabilia in the house we were told to let the vet(s) know that Cutco owns Ka-Bar and that these kitchen knives were made with the same high quality.  So where do Ka-Bars actually come from?

This vid is really cool, and it takes me back to my knife selling days.  It is increasingly rare to see products made in the U.S. and Ka-Bar makes them in Olean, NY with same quality craftsmanship.  A brand new USMC style Ka-Bar will set you back about $119, and is guaranteed to kill zombies on contact.
