Dude Shoots Himself While Using a Serpa Holster

Well kids... Safety first. This guy was working on CQB/Snap Shooting whilst using a Serpa holster. I'm a Safariland kind of guy, but a lot of folks really like the Serpa by Blackhawk. Most holsters with retention require some sort of thumb release, but the Serpa requires the use of the index finger.
In my humble tacti-cool guy opinion, your trigger finger should be used for simply ONE thing: pulling the trigger! Not for releasing a safety retention, not for turning on your tacticool light, or picking your nose! Muscle memory works great, and when operating your firearm this still applies. He explains how this happened and when your finger is working that release it is dangerously close to the trigger.
Anyway, I give this dude props for making the vid and being humble enough to admit a dangerous mistake. Don't buy a Serpa holster kids.
