Wired Hacked The Tracking Point Rifle

Tracking Point is that super expensive rifle that does all the heavy lifting for you...  Simply choose your target, give the gun go ahead, and it fires when things are gravy so you getting a winning shot damn near every time.  This rifle has been out for a while, and Wired Magazine hacked it.  Check out the vid:

I feel like I should be more impressed, but I kind of shrugged my shoulders and said "meh."  Yea they hacked the computer system and got it to not performed as advertised.  The secret sauce of how they did the hacking will remain a mystery to protect the super rich folks who bought one of these rifles.  If you are out on a elk hunt out in the middle of nowhere with a Tracking Point, I feel like hackers getting to your rifle are probably the least of your worries.  Will this video change anything?  Maybe an updated firmware release, but all in all I think it was just designed to get Wired some page views, with the added benefit of scaring the public.
