The Glock Book

There aren't too many books written about guns specifically.  Mrs. Foxtrot gave me a copy of "The Gun" by Chivers which is about the AK47.  I haven't read it yet, but I'm going to start soon (I'll post a review when it is done I promise).  A new book about Glocks has hit the scene and it looks pretty interesting. 

The author, Paul Barrett, reached out to me and I gave the book a closer look.  The author is not a gun guy (clearly seen in the video), but rather a journalist.  I like that because he is telling somewhat of an unbiased story.  I'm not here to hash the age old debate of Glock vs. 1911, because 1911 won :)  I've been a 1911 guy for years and I don't plan on changing over anytime soon.  Glocks are great guns, and I enjoy shooting them too.

Anywho, I'm curious about the book, and as soon as I finish "The Gun" and the Steve Jobs bio, I'll check out "Glock Rise of America's Gun."
