You need to see the Town!

One of my all time favorite movies is Heat.  "Why" might you ask?  Michael Mann is an epic director and actors trained by British SAS soldiers to wield weapons on the streets of downtown LA makes for quality entertainment.  

I was privileged enough to catch a screener of the Town a few weeks back.  Most of the screeners are complete crap the studio is not confident will prosper.  The Town was the exception to the rule.  The film feels a lot like Heat but takes place in Boston.  It starts with a bank robbery and crescendos into a massive heist with lots of epic firearms work.  I know Ben Affleck is the star and normally speaking that is a death sentence for a film's quality.  This is not the case.  When Ben plays himself a bad actor, a local Bostonian, the film does not suffer!
