Your Hotel Room Is Not Safe

Almost all modern hotels use those fancy credit card style locks. A quick swipe and you are back into your comfortable $59.95 Motel 6 room. Well lo and behold those locks are not safe! They are easily picked opened from the inside with a cool looking folding wire. How does it work? Well a suspicious man wearing glasses carries a long metal tool down the hallway of your hotel. He finds his target and slides the wire under the door to pull down the handle. Bam! Full access to clothing and sunscreen lotion from that vacationing family in room 127! If you stuff a towel in the handle it protects you... sorta.

I used this trick all the time when I lived in the college dorm. They charged you every time you locked yourself out of the room. So I figured out how to do this and charged half as much. Made a killing as the dorm locksmith...
