District 9 Viral Fail

Listen folks, I'm all about a good viral campaign. Dark Knight put together an amazing interactive campaign and I participated in a few of the events. Hell, even iRobot Eagle Eye, had a fun little game that called your cell phone and had you convince a guy to complete some skynet generated task. District 9 on the other hand has failed big time in the viral department. In addition to the 4 or 5 rarely updated sites that have been created by Sony, the newest idea (straight from a crack shot team at the marketing desk) is Facebook Graffiti.
Facebook graffiti WTF? Really? Sony, do you really think this will sell more tickets? You get a brush and some color and you are tasked to create something creative for the purposes of spreading the gospel of District 9. I'm more gifted in writing than Microsoft Paint art so I tagged up the board to the best of my availability.
I've talked about D9 in the past and the political overtones are sickening. There might be a slight chance this film will be good, but I honestly expect a lot of CG and a heavy political message to be consumed by the sheeple.
