Last Airbender: Shyamalan's Newest Flop

Shyamalan is making a new film (don't be alarmed it will still fit in the genre of "suck") about ninjas or something...
Do you ever go to a restaurant that consistently has bad food? Most of the time it isn't "make you sick" awful but it is by no means "good". The first time you ate there the food was really good, only because you were really hungry, and as much as you'd like to recreate that experience it won't happen. You continue to eat at this restaurant and swear it will either get better or you won't eat there anymore.
Sorry folks, I'm not talking about Taco Bell, I'm speaking of the craptastic films brought to you Shyamalan. Yes, 6th Sense was good (at the time), and Signs wasn't bad either. The problem lies in the three strikes that are Lady in the Water, The Village, and lastly and most importantly THE HAPPENING. These thee movies are terrible and yet people paid money to see them, and went back to the theater hoping perhaps that magic that was in 6th Sense would return. I listened, with pain in my heart, as my friends described the terrible experience that was The Happening. A terrible story, about effing WIND! Yes the whole story was about toxins carried by the wind!!!!1 This is a blatant spoiler and I'm sharing this with you, so you won't see the film.
So what about The Last Airbender... Well, honestly it will probably suck, and at best we can hope for a Shyamalan movie free of a pretentious director cameo. I thought for a moment I wouldn't have to see Shyamalan "acting" his way through another bit part in Airbender, because it is a period and location film. I expected to see a cast of solely Asian actors, but alas Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire) was cast. This means it wouldn't break the continuity of Airbender to see an Bollywood Indian actor.

Star Wars kid meets Troy??
I don't care what anyone says. Lady in the Water gave me goosebumps. Everyone needs to get over the fact that he cast himself and just admit it was a great freaking story. Also, Unbreakable didn't make your list but it was maybe better than 6th Sense in my opinion. As for the Village and The Happening... I choose to ignore their existence.
We will wait and see on this new one.
