Spielberg's The Pacfic (trailer)

I first heard about The Pacific a while ago when I tried to score a gig as an extra in one of the local shooting locations.  Unfortunately my very short hair didn't meet the 1940's look, but I was definitely curious about the film.

I was stoaked to see the new trailer online today!  The Pacific very much has the Band of Brothers feel, and truth be told is one of my all time favorite mini-series.  A lot of big directors from HBO's other series (Rome, Six Feet Under, Band of Brothers, etc.) worked on The Pacific.  In my mind the standard is set pretty high for this series, but I have a feeling it will deliver :) 

You can expect to see The Pacific in March of 2010.

The trailer looks awesome - Band of Brothers is by far one of the greatest shows ever put together... hope this follows in its steps.
