UAV vs. Eagle (video)

Despite what you may hear on the news, Iran is not training mercenary eagles (although the concept of mercenary eagles is admittedly quite badass).  This video is of a Raptor UAV remote controlled model (be careful where you fly that buddy) being attacked by a big ass eagle.

So I assume if you're into model planes, and have a some serious cash to put into your hobby, you might as well get the one that doesn't scream I want to get back home so I can meet my clan for a 8 hour WOW session looks a little bit cool.  Thus choosing the model that looks like a military drone, will severely limit where you fly.

Our pilot friend chose his best pair of wool socks and threw on his berkinstocks to visit the local national park.  One quick flight with just enough time to recite a few major dialogue scenes from Flight of the Navigator, and if things get tough Top Gun.  Right before he reaches cruising altitude, he adjusts his plastic pilot cap and sees a brown streak in the sky behind his expensive toy.  "Holy crap, that Eagle is trying to attack my drone!"  The pilot takes a deep breath and looks for inner wisdom... A distant voice from Dodgeball whispers to him: Dodge, Dip, Duck, Dive, Dodge!  He works the joystick controls and the Raptor's engine screams!  The whirring sound feels slightly reminiscent of a possessed WALL-E as it flees the clutches of the eagle's sharp talons.  A few passing by crows provide the necessary support as the pilot safely lands in the grass.  A sigh of relief and the pilot looks up to the crows and whispers "You can be my wingman anytime...".

A quick double check of the video and our pilot rejoices!  He smiles and says "I can't wait to get home and post this on the forums!"
