Bioshock 2: 9 Minutes of Gameplay!

So I've talked about how awesome this game is but I'm very pleased to share with you this awesome 9 minutes of epic gameplay!

One of the game designers narrorates the above video, and I'm glad they've added a little more explantion about the role of the little sisters in the upcoming sequel, Bioshock 2.  Unlike the previous Bioshock, there is some incentive to save the creepy little kids though adoption.  When you (as the "Big Daddy") adopt one of these zombie children you throw her over your shoulder and she leads you to bodies where she can extract some Adam.  While she pokes the corpses with that odd looking syringe, splicers and all sorts of nasty things come out of the woodwork.  Since you know they are coming, this gives the opportunity to set up traps and play with those odd plasmids like whirlwind.  I like this new dynamic and think it will really benefit the gameplay.  Not to mention didn't really enjoy the cut scenes of the little sister turning into that slimy worm/eel creature.

The Big Daddy suit that you now reside in is much stronger than the odd clothes you were wearing in the previous Bioshock.  Splicers will not be the same threat they once were, and thus the designers have introduced the dreaded Big Sister.  I'm not entirely sure what she does but in the glimpse of her at the end of the 9 minute video, looks as though she poses a serious threat!

You can expect to see Bioshock 2 around Q3 of this year!
