TAC15: Zombies Beware

Let's face it we all know the Zombies will eventually come.  We'll perch up on our roof tops and shoot Zombies that look like Jay Leno and Burt Reynolds whilst playing chess via white board. Anyway, you've perhaps come to the conclusion, "Gee I need a crossbow."  Well the folks over at PSE have a solution for you.

The basic idea behind the Tac15 is taking the upper off of an AR15 and replacing it with the PSE crossbow upper.  The beauty lies in the simplicity of keeping the same trigger and stock; the irony of replacing bullets for arrows is beyond me.  The Tac15 functions similarly most crossbows with the added addition of a crank handle (not a Jason Statham reference).  The arrows that fly out of this beast obtain a speed of about 412fps which is more than enough to take down the undead.

Why would you ever want to use a crossbow? Well the crossbow and arrow provides a medium to kill zombies with little to no sound (like Rambo killing dudes with the compound bow).  Zombies are easily alerted by loud sounds (don't shoot the car with the alarm in Left 4 Dead), and thus if you can take a few down without alerting the horde you're in good shape.

The price tag for this mod is only $1300 and for the same price a new Bushmaster AR15 could be acquired (provided they are actually in stock somewhere).  If you've got an extra AR15 lower and a desire to trade bullets for arrows, this product was made for you.
